Injecting the hotel experience with a commitment to eco-friendly practices is of paramount importance to David and Martin, who understand that true luxury must be founded upon environmental integrity.
This commitment is evident through their restoration of an historic building, their recycling of demolished materials, their lush on-site gardens, their paddock-to-plate ethos, and planned installation of solar panels, and also through their partnering with local social enterprise Fifteen Trees which planted 250 trees in order to help offset the impact of the hotel build.
Fifteen Trees will also plant one tree for every guest who books in at the hotel. These trees will all be planted together in the region, leaving guests a literal gift to return to whensoever their heart desires.
Further adding to the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, Vera offers guests the convenience of a dedicated Porsche EV charging station on-site, providing the reassurance that one’s adventurous escape will be seamless and joy-fueled.
